Several areas of Doncaster have experienced a population decrease between 2014 and 2019, according to the latest available figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS).
Here is a list of the five areas in the borough where there has been the biggest decrease.

1. 1, Armthorpe
Armthorpe has had the biggest population decrease in the borough, between 2014 and 2019. It dropped from 14,617 in 2014 to 14,405 in 2019 - a decrease of 1.5 per cent. Picture: Google Photo: Google
2. 2, Sprotbrough
There has been a population decrease of some 150 people in Sprotbrough between 2014 and 2019, with there now being a total of 10,902 registered as living in the area. This equates to a reduction of 1.4 per cent. Pictured is Sprotbrough Falls. Photo: JPI
3. 3, Hatfield
