Boxer closes career week at Sheffield school
Home-grown British boxing champion Kell Brook called in to present the Entrepreneur and Pye Bank Pioneer Awards in a presentation assembly.

Hide Ad“As well as presenting the children with the awards Kel spoke to the children and gave them some advice.
“Everyone, staff and children, was excited to have Kell visit us.”
As part of his address, the current IBF welterweight champion told his young audience: “Listen to your teachers. Work hard and then you can be anything you want to be.”
Kell, 30, told how sport has changed his life and how it gave him the discipline to do well in school.

Hide AdHe shared information about his time in school and the people who supported him, particularly his boxing coach who built his confidence through singing in the ring.
There have been many visitors to the school this term, to talk about varied careers from singers and musicians, to doctors, firefighters, authors, police and sportsmen and women.
