Yesterday morning, officers were patrolling Doncaster, when they found a VW Passat being driven by a male, who was taking his partner and three young children for a day out.
Sadly, he had failed to insure his car, resulting in his car being seized and a possible day in court.
A blue Ford Focus RS was stolen from Sheffield late on Monday night.

A spokesman said what resulted was: “A fast, and at times dangerous, pursuit through Doncaster, where it unfortunately collided with a van causing minor damage. Fortunately for us, it immobilised the car so the occupants gave it legs.
“Working with our fine colleagues from Doncaster (and some impressive combined sprinting from our traffic and firearms officers), we quickly had one in cuffs.”
The vehicle was recovered for CSI. Enquiries ongoing.
