Police arrest Doncaster man in Jerry Appicella murder investigation

The man, from Doncaster, is the latest person to be arrested in connection with the murder, with seven others arrested earlier this week.
This arrests follows that of a 19-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder on December 19, who remains in police custody at this time.Mr Appicella’s body was found inside a property on Craganour Place in Denaby at around 9.45am on Sunday morning (December 15) after officers responded to calls of concerns for his welfare.

Hide AdDetectives believe he was involved in an incident with a group of people in an alleyway leading to Hickelton Street, Denaby Main, on Tuesday December 3.
He walked home, where he died of head injuries.
Two juvenile males arrested on December 19 have been released from police custody. One was released under investigation and one has been released on bail.
Another juvenile male arrested earlier this week (December 18) has been released on police bail.
Three juvenile females arrested on December 17 have been released under investigation.
