Police set to act over firework yobs who targeted flats and their officers on Doncaster estate
and live on Freeview channel 276
On November 4, a large number of youths gathered near Parkway South, Wheatley, letting off fireworks aimed at nearby flats.
They also directed them at officers who attended. This is totally inexcusable. Several involved have been identified and will be visited.

Hide AdAs I write, we have just entered into another lockdown period. I urge readers to act responsibly by adhering to the new laws. We will take positive action against anyone breaking the restrictions. Doncaster has one of the highest infection rates nationally.
We have continued with business as usual. This included the recovery of over 1,000 Cannabis plants from properties on Balby Road, Market Road, Beckett Road, Cross Bank, Littlemoor Lane and Lowther Road. Three people at different addresses were arrested and charged.
On Friday October 16 officers raided a house on Durham Road, Wheatley and seized a significant amount of class A drugs. Two people were arrested. Similarly, a house on Symes Gardens, Cantley was raided on October 27. Four people were arrested and drugs recovered.
We increased patrols in Balby on Sunday November 1 – resulting in a man being arrested for theft, and another for drink driving and possession of drugs with intent to supply. A third man was arrested for drink driving, with no driving licence or insurance.
