A South Yorkshire woman who refused to stop drinking after being told to by police has been slapped with a fine.
The woman was spotted drinking in the street and was approached by police officers in the Eastwood area of Rotherham and was told to hand over the booze.
But she refused to stop or handover the drink and received a £100 fine.
RotherhamCentral NHP tweeted: “The offender refused to stop drinking or surrender the alcohol and therefore received the fine.”
