Doncaster youngsters wow the crowds in the West End

Talented young performers from Doncaster wowed the audience when they took to the stage in London's West End for a special show.

Students from Stagecoach Theatre Arts Doncaster put on a musical spectacular called ‘A Taste of Tarzan’ featuring the songs ‘You’ll Be In My Heart’ and ‘Two Worlds’ at the iconic Her Majesty’s Theatre.

The troupe had been practising their routines for weeks and joined 260 other pupils from Stagecoach schools across the country in their taste of West End stardom on Sunday, June 19.

Principal Nick Plummer-Walsh praised the youngsters and added: “The students were incredibly excited to go to London and perform.
