Doncaster’s historic Brodsworth Hall cancels popular light show for Sunday visit

In a statement released on Saturday (December 14), Brodsworth Hall and Gardens said the decision had to be made due to the conditions of the car park and the grounds.
They said: "Cancellation is always a last resort and we are sorry for any disappointment caused.

Hide Ad"If you have tickets for Sunday 15th December, they will now be cancelled and refunded; there is no need to contact us to arrange a refund.”
They said they are also unable to offer the visitors another date, as all other dates are now sold out.
"However, we are working extremely hard on the conditions at the site and if things improve, we are able to add any spaces then we will contact you with advance notice of any further tickets becoming available," they said.
The event, which takes place between December 5 and December 22 on the grounds of the English Heritage property, sees the grounds of the property illuminated in spectacular lighting.

Hide AdThe visitors will also be able to follow an illuminated trail through the gardens, taking in various magical lighting and surprises along the way.
The event runs Thursdays to Sundays during December from 4.30pm and gives the visitors a rare opportunity to explore the historic property after dark.
Marshmallows, mulled wine and hot chocolate will be available and last-minute Christmas shopping can be done in the festive shop.
