People living in Scawthorpe’s Scotsman Drive have spent the last few weeks getting in the Christmas spirit installing decorations, lights and even offering visitors music and moving projections through their windows!
Leading the Christmas campaign is resident Stephen Gibbons who has decked his home from top to bottom with lights with videos beaming from upstairs window.

He said: “This is only my second year on the estate but I have gone all out this year with window projection videos in both upstairs windows.
“The projectors are hooked up to a speaker outside so all the neighbours can join in the festivities.
“All the children on the estate love watching the videos and I’ve had comments from everyone that sees them.

The videos show festive scenes such as snowmen, carol singers and Santa Claus.
And it looks like his passion for decorations have spread around the estate, with other houses in Scotsman Drive also decking the halls.
And one local resident, Emma Dibb, has used her skills to make Christmas wreaths for most of the estate, helping to add a touch of class to properties.

Stephen, 34 has even managed to get his wife Louise into the Christmas spirit – she’s been sporting a Santa outfit – and a recent takeaway delivery driver gave the couple their seal of approval for the Yuletide display.
“The lady was so impressed when she came to the door,” said Stephen.
“She said it was the best Christmas house she’d ever seen.”
So is this the best Christmas street in Doncaster? Or do you know better?
