Andy Butler updates on injured Doncaster Rovers duo

Striker Okenabirhie was withdrawn after the half hour mark of Tuesday’s defeat at Blackpool while James did not emerge for the second half at Bloomfield Road.
“I think it’s his Achilles,” Butler said of Okenabirhie.
“He had an issue with it earlier on in the season. He’ll be touch and go for Sunday.

Hide Ad“I think Reece will probably struggle as well because he came off with a slight hip injury. He took a knock on his knee and it impacted on his hip.”
The four players who have been absent due to Covid-19 will be permitted to return to training on Friday but Butler admits it is unlikely they will feature.
“They’ll be touch and go because they’ve not trained for ten days,” he said. “They’re confined to their homes so it’s difficult for them to get ready for that match.”
