Here is how we rated Rovers' individual performances at The Valley. Let us know your thoughts on Twitter @FreePressRovers.
1. Josef Bursik 7
Another largely solid performance from the keeper who looks increasingly settled into life in this Rovers side. His distribution was strong and he was commanding in the air. He will perhaps feel that he could have done better with Charlton’s goal but was otherwise strong. Photo: AHPIX
2. Brad Halliday 7
It was a game where the full backs spent so much of their time in the opposition half and Halliday performed well on the front foot. He brought his team mates into play regularly with neat play and helped Rovers spend so much time in Charlton territory after going ahead. Photo: AHPIX
3. Joe Wright 8
Charlton looked to slide passes through but Wright coped well, particularly in keeping track of Macauley Bonne. Another commanding performance at the back. Photo: AHPIX
4. Tom Anderson 8
Anderson was a big reason why Rovers enjoyed a lot of possession in the middle section of the game as he rebuffed Charlton’s attempts to launch forward. And he produced two vital blocks as the game wore on to hold off any thoughts of a comeback from the hosts. Photo: AHPIX
